If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address, nothing else unless you tell us more. If you leave a comment, we collect the name and email you give us. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools automatically log basic technical info (browser type, pages visited, general location from IP) so we can see what’s working and fix what’s broken.
How we use it
Your email, if you subscribe, is used to send you our newsletter and nothing else. We don’t rent or sell our list.
Analytics data helps us understand which articles people actually read, so we can write more of what’s useful and less of what isn’t.
If we ever run ads on this site, our ad partners may use cookies to show relevant ads; we’ll list which providers below once that’s active.
